Default iPhone on T-Mo

Hey, I was thinking about going from the 8900 to an iPhone. Is there anyone here currently using the iphone on T-mo? If so are there any draw backs, anything that you can't do with it on T-Mo that you could with ATT?

I had one, The only thing you lose is 3G and visual voicemail.
The 8900 is much nicer I had one it's a sweet phone.

I jailbroke+unlocked my wife's and she's been using it since 3.0 came out. She loves it. No 3g, but whatever.

In my.tmobile, it doesn't have a pic of the phone, so they know that it's not a phone that they have. I didn't change the $19.99 unlimited bb plan and her internet works great. Just make sure that the apn is wap.voicestream.com.

Wow. Are you also thinking about trading in your BMW for a KIA?

The iPhone is much better than a Kia.

Really, if you are going to run the iPhone on T-Mobile's network, it's like driving a Porsche in a school zone. The kids are going to look and think it's really cool, but you won't be driving it fast and you might as well have bought a minivan.

I'd go with AT&T, especially if you're getting a 3G or 3GS model. At least that way you'd be able to take full advantage of 3G.

I don't if going with At&t is the smartest idea. Between Verizon and Sprint At&t has the worst rated 3G service. On top of that their expensive.

To add the world doesn't start and stop with 3G it's nice driving a Porsche is nice, But if you only get 20 miles on a full tank how much fun is that?

3G is great but the iPhones battery sucks as it is just on Edge, Toss 3G in there and it only gets worst.

I have an EDGE iPhone and sometimes switch out my SIM into it. I won't give up my 8900 and prefer it over the iPhone.

My 34.99 text and data plan works great with the iPhone. My APN is epc.tmobile.com
