Default iPhone question

Although I have been pretty happy with all of my Blackberry's, I cant help but have a secret crush on the iPhone. Mainly for the touch screen and all of the apps it has. The speed on my Blackberry is fine and it is user friendly, but I cant help but hide the hiden disire for an iPhone. Is there any chance on T-Mobile getting the rights to the iphone in the near future? I have heard talks of AT&T not being the exclusive carrier, but do not know where T-Mobile falls into that. I have always been happy with the customer service with T-Mobile and don't want to have to deal with all the money that is involved with switching carriers. Unless there are "free switch coupons"...j/k. Thanks for any info.

If you are a hardcore BlackBerry user, I think you may be disappointed with the iPhone. But with that said, if you just gotta get one, buy one on eBay and unlock it and use it on T-Mobile. Tons of people have done that. Heck, there are several senior members here on CrackBerry who use the iPhone on T-Mobile.

I've played with the iPhone a lot (Apple has a store around the corner from where I live). I've never been much impressed with it.

What all do you have to do to be able to use it with T-Mobile service? I assume I still keep my SIM card, but what about SD card?

You have to unlock it and jailbreak it because in the USA they are locked to AT&T. I've never had one so I don't know the exact steps. Again, the iPhone has never much impressed me.

There is an iPhone forum here in CrackBerry. I'd guarantee you that if you post an inquiry in that forum ... or better yet, do a search there ... you'll get the steps you need to take. I don't think it's really all that hard.

The iPhone will not give the BB pushed email and BB Internet. Many BB users who like the iPhone idea also have the iTouch. Then, the best of both worlds.
