Default iPhone 4

So I decided to browse the T-Mobile UK site for no reason, very random to of me to do so and I just so happen to come across this:

iPhone4

Not sure if this is old news or not.

I like how this is looking though

Does this mean it should work with t-Mobile US?
My friend really wants one.

I don't see why it won't work with T-Mobile. Just needs to be unlocked.

Now my question is, that "video calling" feature is awesome. I know it only works with another iPhone 4 AND when both of them are on wi-fi. But would it work if the iPhone was being used on T-Mobile? It remains to be seen...

If it's unlocked any iPhone should work on T-Mobile USA GSM (2G) but keep in mind that T-Mobule USA uses 1700MHz for 3G and the iPhone does not have that frequency in it. So you can only use it on T-Mobile USA's 2G network...

Yeah I used the iPhone on T-Mobile. It's not too bad. EDGE is slower though...and it definitely shows. I think if you want to use the iPhone to its fullest potential, wait for a T-Mobile one, get it on ATT, or mostly stick with wifi.

T-Mobile UK and T-Mobile USA are two different companies under the D-telcom banner. Just because you can buy an iPhone 4 from T-Mobile UK does not mean it will have 100% functionality on T-Mobile USA. You'll have EDGE tops and you will not be able to update the OS on the phone without locking the device back up. Buyer be ware!
