Default International calling

I am throughly confused about rates .

I'm going to be in GUAM and I do see a voice rate...but is there roaming charges tacked on top of the voice rate?

So i will be IN GUAM calling around Guam or back home to US.
What i'm seeing is that is I call a landline 19 cents if I call a cell phone its 49 cents....
but thenif I dive deeper I'm seeing a 1.35 per minute roaming charge tacked on...is this right?

I'm so freakiing confused and tmobile customer service has had 10 different answers

Also what is the rate to be IN the US and call Guam?? I CaN'T FIGURE OUT THE CHARTS

Last but not least i scoped otr verizon to compare and am only seeing 69 cent roaming charge per call while I'm seeing $1.35 for Tmo... how can this be????

You are IN Guam calling back to the United States mainland ... it's $1.49 a minute from your cell phone.

Note: You must activate "WorldClass International Roaming" to your account before you travel - activation is free and you may either activate on line or with customer service. If you do not do this, your phone probably won't work in Guam and you will get rates higher than $1.49 a minute.

You are in the United States mainland calling TO Guam from the mainland on your cellphone ... it's .59 cents a minute.

Pretty simple. A shame everyone got you confused.

The rates I provided for you (don't mention it, you're welcome) are D I R E C T L Y from T-Mobile's website. You are free to go there and look them up for yourself.

Unsupported Browser

It amazes me how people can be so lazy and then also completely unappreciative when someone tries to help them.

"Wow it amazing me when someone can be so RUDE"

How am I LAZY because I customer services was telling me 300 answers when I called and also when I DID go to the website lots of ties but didn't understnd the whole roaming plus regular charge rate after the reps confused me so much????

I also have no idea how someone can be as RUDE as to say I'm unappreciatative just bcuase I said basically I was frustrated with all the reps.

EXTREMELY NEGATIVE attitude.

well, you should try the t-mobile forums on t-mobile.com instead of a website based on the phone you're using, since it's specifically plan related. so yeah, you should search t-mobile.com some more.

I'm sorry, but I perhaps don't understand. The OP has posted what seems to me a legitimate question about Tmobile on the carrier-specific forum. There are (at least) dozens of other threads with similar questions, many of them related to the confusing wording of plan/billing details provided by Tmobile.

The OP's question was neither ignorant nor rude, nor inappropriate. And if you read the original question it is quite clear that the OP had already checked on the pricing in question, and was asking for verification that they understood correctly.

When people see this kind of negative response to an innocent question they stop participating, and if you forgive me for being pedantic, the Oxford English Dictionary defines forum as:

"a meeting or medium for an exchange of views."

USA to Other country:
Cellular is one rate
Landline is a different rate
Minutes pulled from minute package plus whatever extra cost.
Me calling the UK 3 weeks ago was 5 dollars for 25 minutes to an Orange customer.
Roaming:
Minutes pulled from minute package plus whatever roaming rate.
Same call for me from Germany to UK 25 dollars.

Default Roaming

The best way to get away with this is a Pre-Paid International Sim Card.

I never liked rhis option since it would make it impossible to receive calls on my normal number.

No matter how frustrated the OP is with the phone company, when someone in this forum tries to help, a simple 'thank you' would be nice. Jeeezz!!!
