Default insurance replacements for the 8900?

Since tmo doesn't offer the 8900 anymore, what would it replace it with in an insurance claim? I had to break out my old pearl today smh cuz my 8900 took a crap on me. I got a relead software error last night after an automatic backup. My berry shut down, and I got the dreaded 502 error. I was on my second 8900 for the same reason.

If you file a insurance claim it doesn't go through Tmobile, it will most likely go though Asurion. They probably have loads of refurbished 8900's to give you. You will get a 8900.

Nearly all of the devices that are sent in are tested, refurbished, and sent back out to the next customer that needs to replace a broken or defective device. That's the way the system works.

This is also why they can send you a device right away, contingent on you returning your bad one after you've received a replacement. And since the totally re-house and install a new battery, you can keep the battery door and old battery for spares.

Have to tried to fix your 8900? Those type of issues usually can be fixed easily.
