Default I tried adding BB services to my T-mobile plan but I'm confused. gprs = small

Basically, my dad bought me a BlackBerry the other day on pay as you go and put my old contract in it (unlimited text, 100 minutes).

This didn't come with any of the BlackBerry thingies so I went on the T-mobile site and sent a text to 879 to BB1 to add BlackBerry services to my current plan for £5.10

I got a reply saying 'Thanks for choosing the Blackberry Email booster...etc" and I noticed my GPRS turn big. However, I had no clue what to do. How do I use the service? What do I get? How do I get apps? etcetc so I just left it alone.

Later in the day, I see the gprs's gone small and I read that if it's small, that means you don't have the services. Why did it go small? And what do I do to use the BB services?

I am a very confused child.

I believe that you need the Internet Booster in addition to the BlackBerry Email booster.

Give your Customer Service a call to check.

I thought internet wasn't required to go on stuff like BBM and other applications and such?

Nope. Internet is required for BlackBerry apps that need data.

TMobile has a very odd way of implementing BlackBerry Data Plans.

I'm pretty sure that you need both.

I believe you need them both.

But call them (even if that's a pain in the neck) so that you can get the correct thing for your situation.

So it's £10 extra along with what I already have to be able to use just Blackberry messenger along with stuff like Facebook etc?

Because I have no use for the email services.

Yes. Its been said already. T-Mo requires BB data for most apps. No BIS, no data. Pandora requires data service. If you don't pay for BB data you can't utilize apps that require data, ie. Pandora STREAMING radio.

One more time.

CALL your Customer Service and ASK them which boosters you need into to have the services you want.
