Default I have bb unlimited web messages rate plan. what happens....

If i unlocked an iphone and threw my sim in would the rate plan i have allow unlimited data on the iphone? what about the mytouch? then could i just simply switch back to my bb? or would i have to contact tmobile at any point? thanks

Not sure how that works out but I think you wopuld need to contact T-Mo for that.

Yes, it will work.

I've used my BB web/messages when I used an iPhone. Worked like a charm.
Should work with the mytouch too.

You don't have to contact T-Mobile

The BB plan only exist because it also comes with an email address otherwise its just like any other unlimited data plan that they have.

the best fit would be to swap out to the smartphone unlimited data.....TMO is happy to put your Iphone on the TMO network.....

Unless you plan to switch back to BB from time to time.
Then keeping the BB plan is best because it works with BB and the other smartphones, like the iPhone.

My wife kept her bb plan when I jailbroke her iPhone. Works great, but make sure you put in wap.voicestream.com in the APN settings.

I swap back and forth between my BlackBerry and my unlocked iPhone with no problems/surprise charges. As mentioned above, just make sure to add the APN settings.

as far as the MyTouch, you will have to switch to the MyTouch plan, otherwise things get hokey. See above regarding the iPhone.
