Default HSPA+. will we see a difference?

I live in the DC area and TMobile is going live with their HSPA+ network. Will we see any speed differences on our 9700?

9700 only can perform a maximum speed of 3.6 Mbps, not the 7.2 that HSPA+ brings. However you may see a bit of an improvement over your normal speeds, but you certainly won't see anything above 3.6.

The 9700 doesn't support HSPA+ unfortunately. The Android devices and the HD2 do, but those are it right now.

The 9700 just has 3.6HSPA. You will get a bump in data speed but most of the other phones T-Mobile that support 7.2HSPA will see a larger bump in speed. T-Mobile currently has no HSPA+ phones, just the webConnect Rocket which is a USB modem. A HSPA+ smartphone is coming from T-Mobile in the second half of 2010.

The upcoming myTouch Slide and Galaxy S only have HSPA @ a max of 7.2Mbps.
