Default How long do credits take to get approved?

Okay, so I got my bill today and there was this HUGE mistake on it.

Apparently, when I switched back to my contract Unlim Loyalty plan, the rep had made a mistake and backdated me as being on the 500 talk/text/web plan or something. Oooo not good. I ended up with something obscene...like 1400 in overages. (Yes, I talk a lot.) Which doesn't make any sense because I've always been on an unlimited plan so I shouldn't have this happen.

I was on chat (because the wait on the phone was too long) for a long time with a really nice rep who was able to draw up a report on it. He's going to get me a credit of 1600+ dollars (which included the overages and the taxes)...He seemed to do a really good job of writing it up and calculating everything.

I was wondering, how long does it usually take a manager to approve a credit like this? I also have the rep ID of the rep. I was extremely impressed at what he could do for me and I want to give him credit.

I can't speak to the online chat, but credits processed through care (I would assume chat is done the same way) take 24-48 hours. If your balance hasn't updated by Friday, shoot me an email with your info and I can look into it.

Sorry to hear about that, but it is great they were able to correct it with such a positive experience! Good to hear when someone posts about good experiences. Usually you only hear about the bad ones. That is one of the main reasons I stay with T-Mobile. They take great care of their customers!

Awesome, thanks Norris.

Yeah I would have been very upset (not to mention freaked out) if they told me I was SOL, especially since it wasn't my fault. I never was on that plan and really, my past and current usage explains why I should never be! (LOL).

I was happy that the rep was able to fix it. He told me he was confident that it would be credited because he was able to document exactly what happened. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
