Red face How can I unblock my service to allow browsing?

Hi, I'm new here.

Bit of a naughty request but I have a T-Mobile Blackberry that is supplied by my employer.

The service plan we are on does not allow browsing so I can't use any BlackBerry apps. Shameful waste of in my opinion! ;-)

Does anyone know of a cheeky way I can override that so I can enable to my BlackBerry for browsing?? I don't know the account password for my employer account.

A friend something about a free proxy server that allows you browse anonymously? It's all jargon to me, so Advice-For-Dummies is needed!

So you can just use your BB for email. Bummer!

Here's my theory: there is a 9.99 plan for email only on the BB. With this plan, you can't access the web or use apps.
Your company probably has plans like this in place for the employees that bar the use of internet/apps.
Your company may also be using a IT policy that blocks web.

I'm sorry but it doesn't sound like there is much you can do in either case.

BB Internet is a paid service: the internet is pushed from the BB server through your phone company to your phone.

If your employer only paid for email then you only get email since the BB server must "know" that you paid for their service
