hotspot headache on bill??????

Is it only me... or does everyone with the free hotspot add on get crazy bills????? After watching my bills for months it seems i get charged hotspot minutes in the details bill ... but then they come off for the big picture

It's so hard to tell now with the freaking new billing site to even check anything.

Can you please post if this is what you are finding if you have free hotspot add on.

So basicaly my bill says "2" different whenever minutes usage depending where on the bill i am checking

I don't have the hotspot plan but my guess is that it shows your TOTAL Minutes (EDGE and UMA) and then shows the minutes that are coming out of your monthly allotment (EDGE minutes, not UMA) and those are the ones that will be charged. UMA min won't count toward that second min count. Am I right here?

That's what it sounds like to me.

the main first page will show something like 100/1000 whenever but deeper into it it will say something like 400/1000 whenever ....everyplace else I look.

i believe the main first splash page is showing me how many i am CHARGED for after the free hotspot is deducted

You can get your ACTUAL shared anytime minute usage for all lines by dialing #MIN# on your phone, or by looking at the main Manage page when you first login to My T-Mobile. The summary is always correct, but the per-line stats are completely wacked. I go into My T-Mobile and click under Monitor use on the "See details" button. This takes me to the All Lines summary page, where the Shared Whenever Minutes is correct. I click on the Minutes tab... the per-line stats are wacked.

Shared Whenever Minutes : 78/700

Line by line Summary
847-aaa-aaaa 72/700
847-bbb-bbbb 326/700

I switched to T-Mobile in November, and I've noticed the same d@mn discrepancy every time I look at our usage. For the first couple months I worried that I was being charged incorrectly. But the discrepancy doesn't affect the bill.

Yeah ... i watch the bill like a mad woman

Those varied whenever minutes on every page make me crazy> I just go by the splash page number... which is what I am usually billed for.

BUT I STILL WATCH
