Default hotspot and 200mb plan

I have the 200mb plan and with wifi at home I stay easily within the 200mb limit. Occasionally, I would like to use hotspot and am looking forward to OS7.1.
Is my understanding correct that there is no extra charge for hotspot when on and staying within 200mb plan?

200meg is almost certainly not enough when using mobile hotspot. I would strongly suggest you upgrade to at least 2gig.

Completely agreed. You'd eat through that 200mb real fast.

I hit over 100meg in a day just using my wifi hotspot on my Kindle fire with my Android phone and wasnt but my 8 hour work day.

I know BB's compress data, but I would for certain up the package to at least 2 gigs if using that feature.

2 Gigs seems to be the sweet spot for data usage. Highly recommended.

I don't have the "hotspot add on". Since I plan to use it occasionally, I think 200mb should be fine, but we will see. Is the "hotspot add on" gonna cost me?

Yes it will cost you $14.99 just to have the ability to share those 200MB with another device. I don't understand why T-Mobile wants to nickle and dime its customers with this addon. Let me use my data plan however I please, you throttle it anyway after a certain point.

14.99 a month? That seems a bit outrageous for occasional use.

Weird, I don't get an extra charge on my bill. Maybe because I am considered unlimited?
