Default Help for T-Mobile Newbie

I have been loving my Bold on AT&T for several months now and I feel like I'm getting pretty good with the concepts. That is until now when I want to try and help my fiance with her blackberry. She has the Perl 8100 with T-Mobile that is running a 4.2 OS. I want to upgrade her to 4.5 but can't find it on T-Mobile so I grabbed AT&T's 4.5 and will delete the vendor.xml and upgrade accordingly.

I want to be able to resend the service books but I cannot figure out how to login to her darn BIS account. She is clueless about what I am talking about and apparently has never setup an e-mail account. All of the sites I've found say to login to my.t-mobile site and there should be a link. I have done this but still cannot find where to add new e-mail addresses or resend service books. I can only see that she has a Blackberry Minutes & Mail plan.

Can someone please help me out with some advice?

Go to the My T-Mobile site and scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a link to set up email accounts, etc.

I have tried this multiple times but site tells me this is unavailable to me. Any suggestions? Is it possible this is not offered with her t-mobile plan?

The problem żou are encountering is with the new MyT-mobile website. Tech support had me clear the phone type for my line and then select Blackberry curve (which) 8320 again.

Then I went to set-up email and it allowed me to access BIS settings

I'm currently talking to t-mobile about this stupid issue.

Why they launch a new website without completely testing it I have no idea.

ETA: Frak, they are very slow on the uptake today.

ETA2: Didn't work.

It's criminal actually.

Someone oughta be fired over this.

Complete incompetence.

I called their 800-number and the representative was actually very nice and after a long call she fixed it. I was able to get two e-mail accounts to start pushing, resend my service books, etc. Thanks for the tips.
