Default Help please: Billing issue

My problem:
- Plan expired in late-Feb.
- Opened a new plan on Feb 28.
- Was charged for March-Apr. because I had not closed the line.

What can I do? Please help, thanks in advance.

Okay.. I can sort of see where you're coming from, fish.. but at the same time, I haven't even touched that line since Feb 28. 0 minutes used, 0 texts, 0 MB sent/received. Isn't there some way I could maybe have the charge waived?

Call them up and tell them that you have not used anything on that line. When they poll your info up they will be able to see that. You might get that one nice person and they will make it all better. It is worth a shot.

All I can think of is to close the line and pay what is due to them. It sucks but it will be better then having to deal with them calling you and sending it to collection company.

New plan with a new number or ported your number over to the new plan? In any case you have two separate lines now correct?

It would be up to you to close any lines you didn't want, because they can't read your mind. You'd expect a credit if it was their mistake and they had canceled the line if you didn't want it canceled. By the same token it's your mistake, and you should pay for it.

Your only option would be to tell them you are going to cancel your service since they will not waive the other line, but then you'd have to pay the EFT for the current new line of service, and pay the difference in the discount price and the full price of any phone you got with the new line. Don't do this if you don't plan to back it up with walking. Because they may just say, ok pay up the EFT and price of phone and you can leave.

Um, wouldn't that affect the credit of the account holder? And there is another line on that account that is still ongoing...

If something goes to collections then it will more than likely have an affect on your credit. Paying your monthly bill doesn't do anything for or against credit, but from what I know, if collections obtains the account, that could be an issue. I can ask when I get on the clock tomorrow if you want to know for sure.
