NB. is it a good idea to use blackberry with Digi? | I believe Digi doesn't offer bb service, only maxis or celcom do, postpaid acct only, eventhough the telcos have 3G, bb8900 will use EDGE/gprs/gsm network for radio transmission. Most BB apps use data so you need to check which apps will use WIFI only connection. There are apps that will let you connect indirectly to those MSN/Yahoo messengers, I believe but I never tried them. I had TMo sim card using UMA to call the States for free, so never had a reason to switch to local sim card on my BB. I do have prepaid Maxis for local calls while I was there.
