Default Great Customer Service

I started feeling guilty watching my wife struggle with her 8320 while I was rocking my 9700. I decided to call Tmobile to talk about our options. I kindly explained that the phone's UMA had been giving us issues and the dropped calls at the house is getting unbearable. They mentioned that we can either pay full price for the 9700 (1 year away from upgrade availability) or swap the 8320 out. I explained we felt the phone was outdated and we would rather not go through the process of exchanges and certainly did not want to pay $400 for a new phone.

I then respectively asked how much it would cost to break our plan ($200). I explained that the better option would be to find a carrier better signal at our house, pay $200 to break contract, and buy ATT's 9700 under a new customer plan.

I was immediately transferred to an account representative and purchased a 9700 for $129.

Tmobile's coverage might not be as strong as competitors in some areas, but the customer service and price for plans will keep me around for a while.

They have won a number of customer service awards over the last few years.

FUD is a term created in the technology business which stands for "fear, uncertainty and doubt." AT&T's executives and employees have been FUDing T-Mobile for years and it is just shameful. AT&T make outrageous claims that their network is the best in the nation. Go into an AT&T store and the outright lies many of their employees make about T-Mobile is just criminal.

Great network AT&T claims? LOL. That is a laugh. Nothing could be more false. Just recently, CNet pointed out how broken the AT&T network actually is. Moreover, AT&T's advertising is so fraudulent that their own customers have filed class-action lawsuits against AT&T for deceptive advertising. T-Mobile on the other hand is awarded best-in-class awards for the best ethics in the business.

T-Mobile is a much better service than AT&T. While no carrier is perfect for 100% of the people and all carriers have weak spots, T-Mobile is consistently rated as a good carrier while AT&T is consistently rated as the worst carrier in the nation (Consumer Reports).

Just the facts.
