Default Gotta Love UMA - On an Commercial Flight!!!

Just flew US Airways...Had a flyer in the seat pouch with the free WiFi code for the inflight WiFi...UMA connected just fine and I conducted business as usual for the 4 hours flight I was on!!! UMA kicks ****! Been a user for 3+ years and am happy as heck! I know they do not want you makking VOIP calls inflight, but I couldnt resist!!! UMA ROCKS! THANKS TMOBILE!!!

wait what? US Airways has free wifi? Saaweeet, I'm gonna be flying with them in June

That's awesome. Next time I fly I may try to get online w/ my BB.

I probably wouldn't call via UMA but the txting would be very useful.

Yep, UMA rocks. You shouldn't be using on flight WiFi to make a phone call. However, I have done this many times flying with AA

Yeah Virgin America has wifi aboard and southwest will soon have it too. However, this service is not free on many airlines.

UMA is the best thing I've encountered since my first shoebox cell phone 20 years ago.

I will admit, I'm kind of surprised they didn't come over and ask you to turn off your phone...I thought voip was not allowed. (security concerns, blah blah)

From my experience, so long as you do not abuse it too much, it is fine
