glendale/burbank 3g speed?

considering getting a 3g capable bb on tmo and i'm curious to see if the speeds justify it.. i think more importantly i care about getting blackberry messages while i'm on the phone.. and emails

IF you are on 3G speeds, then regardless of the speeds you will get EMails and BBM durning phone calls.
