Sent from my BlackBerry 9900 using Tapatalk | Good point. These 'material parts' differ from carrier to carrier. Last I checked, T-mobile's verbiage makes it so that if they raise some fees, you are not able to cancel your contract. However, Verizon's contracts weren't (and maybe still aren't) like that. Recently, Big Red decided to raise some obscure fee by like $0.01-$0.05 per month, and when people found out, they started claiming it as a "significant and material change" which should allow them to get out of contract.
The point is, request a copy of the contract terms, read them carefully to see if TMO isn't fulfilling some part of it to the extent they're required to. Some issues with 4G coverage may not cut it, unless the contract guarantees full 4G coverage 100% of the time, but something else might work for you. Certainly cheaper than forking over $1000.
