Default G2 "magic" / Will this be released anytime soon?

Hi there,

just wondering if there are any T-mobile Reps, that know if this phone will be getting released for T-mobile.. and if so, soon?

i just bought my 8900 about 2 weeks ago.

but if the g2 is going to be released anytime soon i would rather return in within the 30 day trial period and wait for the G2.

Thanks ahead of time =)

T-Mo reps won't know, its still in the air if they will even get it. I have one already but I'm a google employee, they are lightyears better than the G1, but blame that on tmo for rushing the relaease of a beta os. Don't expect the G2 anytime this year.

CarolinaGuy99 stop with the know-it-all act you are obviously misinformed. The G2 will be released this year possible under the name of "mytouch 3g" (subject to change) It has been advertised and the box art has been released as well. It has also been cleared by the FCC for use on T-mobile, so it's just a matter of time before they decide on the best launch date for it. Possibly within the first week of July.

"T-Mobile is spreading word the launch of the Android G2 is "early this summer". The carrier isn't mentioning which device will actually carry the T-Mobile G2 name-tag. Speculation has the HTC Magic as the best competitor for this position."

Hello everyone! Isn't the G2 the myTouch 3G? It's on display on the TMO website.

Introducing T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google

It comes out the second week of July.

In orlando this morn, I was watching the news and they stated that tmbile is/is about to begin taking pre-orders for the G2 and it will be released july 26th I think? Def by the end of july.

A completely OT question, but I just bought a 8320 about a week ago, due to its low price, but do I have 14 days to exchange it or 30? Because I might decide for the 8900 because the 8320 is giving me a bunch of issues. Thanks everyone!!
