Default G1 vs. Lx2009 vs. 8900

Looking to get a new phone since we are adding my inlaws to our plan plus my DH grandma. Since we are doing that, he is going to take my 8320 and I get to cash in on one of the upgrades

My question is out of the 2 phones (the G1, the LX2009, or the 8900) which one would you guys recommend. I know this is a crackberry forum lol so some people will be biased, but I figured the t-mobile section was the best place to ask.

Any opinions?

Thanks.

It all depends on what you like/want/need in a phone. If you need push email, Blackberry is the way to go. If that doesn't matter to you than the LX or G1 would be a better choice. If you would prefer a touchscreen phone, the G1 would be the choice for you.

I suggest going to T-Mobile's website and comparing all of the features the three phones have to offer, or go to a T-Mobile store and compare the 3 side by side.

Also, if you are considering the G1, you may want to hold off. It's rumored that the G2 will be hitting T-Mo stores soon, and I personally like the look of the G2 so much more. My fiance has the G1 and it is also very awkward to type on with the way it is set up.

However, I am one of those biased people and if I had to choose, I would say get the 8900. I don't know how I survived before having my Blackberry.

Check out the Blackberry 101 How To: link in my sig. There is a section in there that can help you decide if a Blackberry is right for you.

all three phones you mentioned will require you to get a data package with their service. out of those three i would pick up the 8900, it's the fastest, cleanest, easiest to use. and for what it's worth my good buddy has the G1 along with his wife - and my wife has the SKLX and i and my 8900 has the ability to do more app wise than the other two have (app wise) on the market.

Ok I love my pearl and am a BB person all the way. I want the 8900 but have decided to wait til the end of the year with the 3g coming. So it really depends on what you need the phone to do. My husband has the Sony erricson and loves it. He does not have any days to it but there is a lot it can do if it had the data on it.go to a t mobile store and play with them. Don't let the salespeople pressure you, they are all about their comision which drives me crazy.

I've used them all, been using my 8900 for 2 months and its my fav out of the 3. The G1 is cool and all but the battery life is horrible so I sold it. The LX2009 is a very limited device meaning u can't download 3rd party apps plus the phone in it is terrible audio quality. Not only that but its more of a teen phone. The 8900 is a triple threat. Great battery, wi-fi, fast processor. I recommend 8900 2 everyone.

8900 by far, the lx 09 is ok, and everyone i know with a g1 is complaining on how much it sucks and wants to sell it.
