Exclamation fine print: what does this mean?

I saw this on tmobile, what does this mean?

*To provide the best network experience for all of our customers we may temporarily reduce data throughput for a small fraction of customers who use a disproportionate amount of bandwidth. Your data session, plan, or service may be suspended, terminated, or restricted for significant roaming or if you use your service in a way that interferes with our network or ability to provide quality service to other users. Some devices require specific data plans; if you do not have the right plan for your device, you may not be able to use data services. 3G coverage is available only in certain markets and on certain devices. Taxes, fees, and additional charges may apply. Domestic use only. See your data plan terms and T-Mobile's Terms and Conditions on T-Mobile.com.

If you're a data ** they will spank you. Sprint and Verizon have the same thing.

You would have to seriously be using some data for them to enact that.

I've been tethering for my home internet for months and never had any action taken against me. But then I can't imagine there are a whole lot of people using data around here.

I think you would have to use 5GB+ per month or something, my buddy uses his phone(with verizon) as his home connection and he's never had issues. Its just there, so they have "reserved the right" basically to limit you if the time comes where your using to much

This means that if you hook your phone up and you use an obscene amount of bandwidth, they have the right to suspend your add-on service. Honestly, if you use your phone internet with your computer, you're fine, but if you're tethering your phone to like 10 computers and they're all using 928374923874928374932874932874932GB, kiss your internet buhbyes.

they will cut down your bandwidth or even terminate it if you use too much that could affect other users...but unless you are extremely crazy on the bandwidth..chances are, very unlikely to happen

Think it is just there so IF they have to they can limit you, and they can say didn't you read...........I do not know anyone that they have done this to so don't worry about it.

Default 10mb

if you use over 10mb of data in a month then they will tether your usage,it is pretty hard to do this.
