Default Family plan to single line

Im thinking of moving off of a family share plan to a single line plan, keeping the same number and phone. I'm in the middle of a two year contract. If i moved a line from a family share to a seperate single line account, would my contract reset or continue from where it is?

i'm pretty sure that it would reset pending on when ur number was added. i'm on a family plan but since we were added at different times, our upgrade etc are on different schedules. login to tmo website and see when ur upgrade is suppose to be, it might just be wiser to wait it out a lil longer..

long story short, you will most likely have a 2 year contract again after you change ur plan.

i'm currently 1 year into my 2 year contract. so if i were to move it off into a new single line account, it would start over for a new two years? In that case, would I be able to get a new phone at the two year pricing?

If you have less than a year left on your contract, it extends for one year from the day you make the rate plan change. If you have more than a year left, your contract date doesn't change.
