Default Exciting news :)

Went to the Tmo store last night to complain about my MyTouch..AGAIN. Anyway, talking to the girl, she said that she was holding out to get a new phone until the Storm 3 comes out. I asked if they were for sure getting it. She said yes that their BB rep had told them already.

She said the rep said it was pegged for a "spring release".

*looks at watch*

Well it's almost halfway through March RIM...get on it!

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high, in store CS reps are often misinformed.

This is said to be T-Mobile's upcoming RIM roadmap, less than stellar if it is correct.

It has also been leaked that the storm 3 is likely coming to TMO. I'm getting the Bold Touch regardless. But its not just the rep saying the Storm 3 is coming.

yeah i've seen the road map just today and you're right. not that impressive. again, i realize this is all rumors and everything could change at any time.

Where did you get solid info that the Storm 3 is coming to TMO?

I was having trouble with my 9700 and called T-mobile customer service and I ended up needing a new SIM card so i had to go in to a store. but anyways I asked both of them if t-mobile was getting a new BB and they both said that there getting a torch like device by the end of the year. thats OK with me cause i don't get to upgrade in till early next year.

yeah on their outlook calendar too the touch bold is listed...if it's the same size as the original bold, i'm on board...i loved my 9700, but in some ways it was too small for me. It will be hard going from an iphone size touch screen :/

Maybe the rep was thinking about the Touch Curve.

As much as I want the storm to come to Tmo, I highly doubt it will ever come to us.

I wouldn't be surprised if AT&T and Verizon's exclusivity agreements on the Bold and the Storm respectively are ending. It has been long enough. I can understand the Torch still being a carrier exclusive, but not the Bold & Storm.

I can care less about the road map as long as one of the listed BB's comes out on TMobile.

Hopeful for the Bold Touch.

i've made peace with the fact that i might never see a tmo storm. *sniff*

but if we must get something, i hope it's the bold touch actually. i really liked the first bold so hopefully this one will be as good or better.

Haven't seen any "harcore" facts, but I have seen more than one blog site "rumor" that the Storm 3 will be heading to T-Mo sometime this year.

Not holding my breath, but it would be a nice addition to magentas BB line-up, which at the moment is pretty lack luster if you ask me.
