Question Even More Plus Plans Gone?

After browsing T-Mobile.com I noticed all the Even More Plus (No Contract) plans are gone. Anyone have any information on this? I am on the Even More Plus 500, unlimited text and web for $59.99/mo so are we grandfathered into keeping that? I hope so. I wonder if they decided to axe their no contract plans due to their 4G network??? I can't complain because I get an awesome deal. Not always happy with their service but still

Wow. I'm not seeing it either.

I did a Google site search too and the link to a Plus plan now just goes to the Tmobile homepage.

This is of course my opinon but I think T-Mobile was getting screwed with these plans. They are the same as the Even More just way cheaper. Now with the rollout of their 4g network they had to implifiy some changes such as the 200mb data plans. Besides they are the fourth largest carrier in the U.S. and still offered no contract plans. That had to have hurt them. ?

Honestly, I was thinking of switching carriers recently but now I'm not giving it another thought because my EM+ plan pretty much blows AT&T and Verizon right out of the water lol. I wans't happy about this at first but I WILL GLADY PAY FOR THE PHONE UPFRONT AND SAVE MORE $$$ EACH MONTH.

I hope that those of us who have it get it grandfathered. I really like the price of mine.

My understanding is this:

They can't force you onto a contracted plan, you signed an agreement for no-contract and for the price of, there's no way they'd be so stupid to breach their own contract (hello sprint) just to make a few bones. They made their bed and will lay in it. They may take it off the market for newcomers, but they always grandfather, in my experience.

Your absolutely right they can't. I called T-mobile today to see which stores had the 9780 and the lady said "would you like to go back on contract?". I said no very loudly lol. According to her T-mobile now allows users on the even more plus plans to return to contract. She said the website was experiencing a lot of difficulties and the even more plus plans will be back up by tomorrow. Of course everyone on the even more plus plans will be grandfathered.

Personally, I don't think they'll be back because then T-mobile would have users switching back and fourth to the even more plus just to get cheaper monthly service or vise versa and get cheaper phones. I will gladly keep my even more plus plan for as long as I can because its such an awesome deal. I do believe they were loosing $$$ with the even more plus plans.

Check this out!

Unsupported Browser

Look how their 1500 plan costs less than the 1000 min plan. Not a bad price at all for all of that.

I bet they eliminated them cause they were just confusing. Many people were confused by them. T-Mo felt they needed simplify things.

Check under the flexpay plans. EM+ is there but only with flexpay.

I hope I'll be allowed to keep my 500 minute em+ plan. I prefer to just buy a phone outright. I'm guessing the equipment paying plans are a thing of the past though.

You will. As previously stated they can't force you on a contract. Just don't ever change the plan and your fine.

T-Mobile GFs everything when it's gone. I'm still on the old loyalty plan before the em/em+ days. No way I'm giving that up.

Yea that's weird. The better fix all these glitches with their site. The new Blackberry BOLD 9780 shows up as the 9700 under Discover at the top.

I see they've started incorporating the new 200mb web option in these plans which confirms the chat I had with a rep this morning and why the website has been in flux

Yep. With the rollout of their acclaimed 4G network I bet all unlimited data plans will cease to exist? Unlimited data plans cause network congestion.
