Disney Dream cruise/international BB email?

Just wondering, and I want to make sure.

If I add the $19.99 BB Email international roaming (no data usage obviously).

If I cruise on Disney's new ship tomorrow. There won't be any additional charges (assuming I only use email). No SMS/MMS. No data usage. I have call forwarding on so no double charges for voicemail.

I've traveled by land extensively with BB email roaming. Never had any extra charges. But this is first time with cruise ship.

Is there Wifi on the ship? If so I think you can use UMA with no international plan at all.

The wifi on the ship does not support uma. The data rate is too low through the uplink. Also, in order to get on the system, you have to have an account with the ship for it, which the phone does not support. Been there, tried that...

it does not matter what you get you will still be hit with charges also I just got back from a cruise and since your on the ship you will need to buy WIFI mins since BB can not use UMA, what I did was buy a calling card and that is what I used which saved me a ton of money, I had my phone unlock and got 50 bucks worth of mins
