Default Deat AT&T

Dear At&t,

As you probably know, you have 36 million people ticked off at you right now. Other then a few who might be happy about this, most are not. We did not want to be ATT customers for various reasons. I do not like having you forced on us. We have a ton of questions that we need answers to. Please allow me to ask them.

1. Will you honor grandfathered Tmobile plans for as long as the customer remains in good standing without forcing us to take your crappy bloated plans? This includes being able to renew said contract with no upcharges or changes?

2. Will you honored our T Mobile Unlimited data plans?

3. Who determines what a "compatible device" is when you turn off our 3G? Where can we view such a list?

4. Will you replace all your overseas customer service with TMO's awesome CS?

5. Will you still operate UMA?

6. Will you allow those who want to leave to do so without an ETF?

7. How will you handle the fact that TMO bills behind and ATT bills forward?

I really hope that the DOJ shoots this down, but I think you have too much cash and power for that to happen.

Thanks TMO for 7 great years.

****** I know... keep dreaming is most likely the answer to each question, but it never hurts to ask.

Are you serious??? Do you have any idea the time frame involved in a major merger such as this? This has only recently been publicly announced, now it must receive approval from numerious federal regulatory commissions, as well as the share holders of each company before anything happens.

There will be periods of time as the process moves alongs that the companies will be limited in scope as to what each can discuss with the other. At this point in time, neither can share Company Proprietary Information or Customer Identifiable Information or even discuss issues without the involvement of their respective legal teams. At best, you're looking at 18 months. During which time due to legal reasons only limited information can be shared with each carriers customers.

I truly understand that you're not pleased with the announcement, but let's not put the cart before the horse by asking questions that cannot be answered at this time.

Yes, I am serious. You can't tell me that some details havent been worked out many weeks before the announcement. And yes, I am putting the cart before the horse, but this buyout is crap. I hope the DOJ kills this, but I dont think it will happen. The Death Star has too much cash and clout.

That being said, all my questions are valid questions, and must be answered before any Tmo customer can make a informed decision if to sign on with At&Tmobile, or move on to better pastures.

I'm not saying that your questions and concerns are not valid, but working for a major telecommunications company, I have a little more indepth knowledge of these types of transactions.

I do agree that you as well as every customer affected by this potential merger has a right to be informed of how it will impact their service, terms of contract, coverage area, etc.
