Question Data Plan?

I am renewing my contract with TMO with just a normal phone plan and getting a normal phone for my wife. I have a AT&T unlocked 8310 that I want to give her to use on TMOBILE. If I call TMO after I do the renewal, add a BB data plan (although TMO will have no record of us having a BB), will TMO add the plan and can we take the SIM card out of the normal phone and put it in the BB and will everything work? How does she get the service books, etc.? Thanks.

It should work just fine.....just make sure the data plan is on the correct line that the blackberry will be using. You can call T mobile and ask them to send the service books or login to my.tmobile.com and access BIS and send them to yourself. Just make sure you have the correct phone setup in the my.tmobile.com to be able to access the BIS section.

After you add the plan to T-Mobile, you should see the BIS section and you can go into there to set up your BB. It'll ask for your IMEI number and PIN number, and then it will send the service books. That should be it. Oh, and you can also set up your email account(s) from there.
