Curve 8900 MMS issue

My GF has a Curve8900 TI. She has unlimited data with 400 txt on her plan. she can send MMS to me (i have storm on verizon) but when i send to her it tells her to log into t-mo.com and get them there. Any idea why she cant recieve the pics directly to her BB? It seems to happen with any pic/vid that is sent via MMS to her phone. i can BBM and email them just fine. Thanks in advance! i searched around and couldnt find anything on this.

I read somewhere that 400 text plan is exactly that, "texting." Apparently this plan does NOT include MMS. That's just what I've read on this forum.

The plan is for 400 SMS and 400 MMS messages separately. The fastest remedy for that problem is to send a MMS with a picture to the phone from itself 2-3 times.

When your phone has not been set up to recieve mms, then they will be sent to your my album in your mytmobile.

have your girlfriend send herself two mms to her self with her 11 digit number ((12352245489)) and this should not happen anymore.

I have had issue sending period. Every 4th or 5th attempt will go thru. I thought maybe using a 3.2 mp camera was the problem. Anyone else having problems on the first couple attempts

I got the 400 texting plan and never had a problem, so the MMS concern is incorrect

I called T-mobile twice today for this problem. I just got mine a week ago, and they had me re-register it with blackberry, and i got the test one from the tech, but I still could not get them from other people. I sent like 6 picture messages to myself and got em all, but still couldn't receive from anyone else.

After the second call to t-mobile they said they were having a network problem with sending and receiving picture messages.

When you can't receive picture messages on your blackberry, it's because you don't have a blackberry data plan. Call customer service, and ask them to add "Blackbery Voice Addon ". This feature is no charge, it is so that people with a messaging plan, but not a blackberry plan, can send and rec'v picture messaging. After they add the feature, do a batt pull, and you should be good to go.

its actually for 400 SMS, MMS, Instant Messaging messages sent collectively. You don't get 400 of each.

IM on most BB require the data plan.

I am on the unlimited now and it has separate entries for SMS and MMS and keeps track of each. When I was on the 400 plan, I would use my BB to force an MMS message with just text when I was close to my SMS limit, and I never got billed for sending 396 SMS and then 50-60 MMS.

I tried a few of those things and It won't let ee send mms to her phone from jer phone. It just doesn't go thru. I keep telling her to call tmobile but she hasn't. She says its not a big deal to her but its driving me nuckin' futs!!!

Yea I did. It just says "failed to send" she is using out wifi does this even matter. I have had far less problems with my storm than her curve lol
