Default Cracked screen on 9700, options?

I cracked the screen on my T-Mobile Crackberry Bold 9700. What are my options to tie me over until the 9900 lands? I was going to go to the store, but it seems like a waste to buy a new one. Ebay? I have the Even More+ plan with no contract. Thanks!

If you or a friend are good with tools and don't mind doing intricate work, order a replacement screen and the requisite tools from cnn.cn . Be sure to check out their disassembly videos.

buy a replacement screen for around $100

Hmmm...looking at screens. I guess I have to take it apart to figure out if the lcd is 002/111 or 202/222.

What's a reasonable price for a used 9700? I've never done the craigslist thing. Most seem to be coming out of rougher or sketchier areas.

My friend switched from her 9700 to a droid, so she's lending me her 9700 until the 9900 comes out. Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I lucked out on this one!
