| | The cheapest blackberry data plan?
Okay everyone, because I am really cheap and trying to save all the money I can..
I have looked hi and low for the cheapest way to still use my blackberry, because I have to have my data plan!
Here's the cheapest talk and data I can find from any carrier in the United States let me know if you can beat it!
T mobile data plan for your berry, for 29.99 a month plus tax, get this on the month to month flex pay plan and I did not get any talk plan so my bill is just like 37.00 with 400 messages a month.
Then i went on ebay and I bought 1000 minute t mobile prepaid card for 93.00 (no taxes!!) and you get 1000 minutes and they last 365 days then add that to you phone and
if you don't talk to much like me, it last's me 3 months! and it spaces the bills out and I still get my unlimited data, and enough minutes to get by! comes out to for my talking about 333 minutes 67.00 a month for both, but I avoid those terrible high taxes on my talk plan! and only pay my tax on my data plan!
let me know if anyone can beat this!

Thats what I pay a month, but on a family plan with my brother. We both have BB data plans and 67 is exactly half of the bill each month, with unlimited messaging, insurance, and 350 minutes each.
I do get a discount from my employer though.

if money is that tight, why not upgrade to a BB that has wifi and use its wifi internet, yeah you lose BB messenger, but I mean.....you dont even really have a phone anymore, you just have a mini mini laptop

My data plan is 34.99 and it includes unlim messages. (So its really 19.99 for data and 14.99 for unlim msg).
it's good for me because I use about 3k texts a month.

How do you combine the prepaid card with your data plan? This sounds like an ideal combo for me.

Moreover, how did you get a $30 data plan when there is only the $40 one? And I didn't see anything data-related for FlexPay. Not trying to call you out, but I'd love to do something similar to what you describe. I'm just looking for some further info.

| | just tell them..
just take your berry into a t mobile shop and sign up for blackberry data plan, (flexpay can get all the different plans that the normal contracts get and data too!!) it's actually the 24.99 data plan that gives you unlimited data and 400 messages, but they charge you 29.99 instead if you choose not to get a voice plan! then you can buy the airtime cards anytime you want in a store or off of ebay like me and you don't pay any taxes! and like i said it is only 92.99 for 1000 minutes!

I have four lines of service on a family plan. 3000 anytime shared minutes, free mobile to mobile, free nights and weekends, unlimited texts on all four. I pay $19.99/month for the bb service and my sister-in-law has a data plan for her sidekick. With two additional line charges and taxes. We still come in under $200/month. That's $50 per person. It pays to share!

There's currently a data plan out there for loyal T-Mobile customers called "Preferred Blackberry Unlimited Web". It's for $20/month.
I'm currently on the "Android" one, plus $15 for unlimited domestic/international messages.
