Default charging a new 9810 to monthly bill?

I've searched and haven't found any answers, I'm hoping to find out if T-Mobile still has the ability to charge your upgrade directly to you bill?

I know people who have done this (regular customers, not business channels), where they were eligible for an upgrade and ordered their new phone with a customer service rep on the phone, the new phone was shipped to them, and they paid on their next bill. This is different with the monthly payment installments that T-Mobile used to have but has gotten rid of.

Is it still possible? I tried online but I recently lost my debit card so I couldn't input my card number to charge, but would like to just order it on the phone and be able to pay for it all on my next bill..

any help is appreciated.

Not really an upgrade per se, but some family members of mine renewed to a Value family plan about 1.5 months ago, and had the option to make payments over 21 months, for two separate handsets. The best thing to do would be to call CS and ask.

You need to replace your debit card because I don't think they would ship you a phone without a downpayment at least. Probably half, say $190 up front and $20 per month.

Downpayment is required the only way to bill it to the account is by converting it to a value plan.

Default thanks!

Thanks everyone for your replies. The CS rep told me they did away with the "charge a new phone to the bill" thing in July, so now they require a debit/credit card on the phone and online. I'm just going to have to get cash and go to a T-Mobile store, the old fashioned way!
