Default changing voicemail password

so my wife lost her phone last night and she cannot access her voicemail becuase there is a password created and she has no idea what it is. tmobiles has the #793# on the phone, but she doesnt have her phone, im logged into tmobile rite now and there is no option to reset password. it does say if i have the phone i can go to tzones and change it but i dont have the phone. any suggestions?

The default password is the last four of the phone number, but that usually gets changed early on. Care can reset the entire mailbox if you call, but that will purge any messages. Your only other option is to get a new SIM card and put it into your phone or a spare to do the reset

would it be possible on if on his phone to change the sim phone number to her phone and access or change the password???

im blown away there is no way through my tmobile on line that i cant reset the password. its boggling.

I'm not sure why that is so strange. A cell company's website is designed to be a supplement, not a replacement, for things on the phone.

Is there a reason you don't wish to use the method I listed? You will eventually need to get her a new SIM card anyway

Technically yes, but it would be more trouble than it's worth and would require another SIM card anyway.
