Can't get GSM Service

Just picked up a T-Mobile 9700 the other day for personal use. I live in nYC and have full 3G coverage every where I have been with the phone and use UMA in my house even though 3G would work just fine.

I bring it in to work and it's SOS all day. I work in midtown manhattan on the 13th floor of a building and sit right next to a window. Even pressing the phone up against the window yields nothing.

I love the berry and everything else about T-Mob, but I can't keep the phone. Not being able to receive calls at work is a deal breaker. Gonna have to give back under the 14 day policy. Looks like I am stuck with VZW.

I wish I could. Only have wireless internet in the employee cafeteria. Don't pick up wifi anywhere near my office.
