cant find service T-mobile card with at&t blackberry

When i got this blackberry 8310 it was used and there may be a physical problem with it but i hope not. I had the phone unlocked by using the code you get from at&t to unlock it and when i was able to do that the phone would read the T-mobile sim but i didn't get any service and when i manually searched for networks it wouldn't find any. I really want to get this phone working as soon as possible so any suggestions?

Why don't you call 611 and ask for Blackberry support. It sounds like you're missing some settings from T-Mobile and support can help you.
