Default Can not enable call forwarding

For the past two weeks, I have not been able to enable call forwarding on my 8900. It worked fine up until two weeks ago. I went to my local T-Mobile store and they couldn't help me. We called tech support and they can't figure it out either. (They want to send me a refurbished phone). I would really like to keep my current 8900 since I have bought themes and apps for it. (Not to mention I don't want a refurbished phone to replace a phone that I paid full price for). If anyone has any idea what is going on and how I can fix this, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Well, just got it figured out. When you have the family allowance plan like I do, you can't use call forwarding. I've been caught in a glitch for the past year being able to use call forwarding. I would have to get rid of the family allowance in order to use call forwarding.

I guess they have the same rules for the annual Flex pay customers also because I'm not able to use call forwarding either.

That's kind of lame, considering it's supposed to be a phone feature.

And I don't see the relationship between the two. Because you are on a family plan you can't forward your phone? I suppose if you forwarded you phone to one of the other members of your family, it could get "confused", but I'm still puzzled.

Sorry, don't think I was clear there. Yes we have the 2000 minutes family plan. In addition to the family plan, I have the family allowance. It allows me to set the number of minutes my kids can use or set how many text messages they can send and I can block numbers. It's not part of the family plan. It's just an extra that I signed up for.
