Are you under contract? If you upgraded your BB recently at a discount price, you need to have a BB data plan.

However, if you're free to switch plans, then yes, technically you can use the 19.99 plan (that's the one with messages)...BUT BB features like Email and BBM and BB browser won't work. And only *some* apps will work. Def not ideal but if you want to do it, go for it.

Was your TMo plan with a different phone using the 19.99 unlimited web plan? I have a Blackberry Unlimited Add On plan for 19.99, so if you are able to get that one for your account, you will get email and web. (I've had my plan for several years.)

I just renewed my contract with T-mo in July & Was told the $19.99 Blackberry Unlimited web/e-mail/data plan will be "grandfathered" over to my new contract only because I had the plan before they switched the rate to $34.99 I also have the Customer Loyalty Plan as well. Not sure if this is you're situation but, that's how I got to keep mines.

If you have the customer loyalty plan, you should be covered. Just call CS to verify!

HMM wiat a minute. I have the Blackberry unlimited add-on that used to be $19.99. I always thought it was like the $24.99 plan now and then I just read $34.99. Does that mean it has the text with it if you had the $19.99 blackberry add on????

i am a manager at T~Mo and there is two plans that you can be talking about. First one is an old blackberry plan at 19.99 for text and web. Second is 19.99 for text and web on regular phones (non smart phones) so if your grandfathered do not change it for nothing cause once you do its gone other wise its 34.99 for text and web

I'm on the old BB plan that included Unlimited BIS data. It's 19.99.
Are you telling me that there's an older BB plan that includes data AND unlimited text????

No, just unlimited data for $19.9. That's what I've got.

That's what I have too...19.99 data and 9.99 unlim msg.
However, the poster before said that he's a tmo manager and knows of an old BB plan that's 19.99 and includes msg...maybe he's mistaken?

I have a question about this because I have a Sidekick and I have the Sidekick unlimited plan for 19.99 which includes unlimited web and text messaging. I am going to get the BB 9700 when it comes out, so will I be able to grandfather this plan to the bb by calling customer service/retentions, or will I be stuck in having to get the 34.99 plan?

One other question I have is about the Loyalty Plans. I've been with t-mobile since they were voicestream so what type of loyalty plans are available for people on individual plans?

Does anyone have the code for the $19.99 unlimited data BB plan? I have it on 2 other lines on my account and would like to add it on a 3rd, and I called once but they won't give it to me. Has anyone heard of anyone having any luck recently getting the 19.99 bb unlimited data?
