Default Can this be fixed?????

I have an 8320 thats not working.

Suddenly all the keys won't type right. Maybe h will type as a p and so on. None of the other keys like the menu key will work either. Also on off doesn't work. Basically nothing will respond or work correctly. Tried the basic battery pull and memory cleaning. Any idea what else I can try?

I had this happen before with another 8320 and I just exchanged it since it was under warranty but this one is out of warranty

Thanks

Oh by the way... The thing is totally none functioning KEY WISE anylonger so I can't press any buttons to actually do anything anymore . I was thinking maybe there was something I could do with my BB manager????????? Or maybe tmo can send me an OTA type thing????? Just talking out my **** here !

Have you tried reloading the operating system on it? I don't even know which OS that one runs but i would try that first.

Did the device get wet? The keys malfunctioning in that manner are symptomatic of moisture damage. If it did get wet, and you continued using it, it is probably damaged beyond repair.

As a last resort, you could try the tips given in this thread.

The latest OS for that phone will be at the top of the thread for that phone or you can get the official T-Mobile OS here: Unsupported Browser and install it on your computer.

Use BBSAK to wipe the phone first you can find that here: BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife its a simple easy to use program just plug in your phone start the program and hit the wipe device button.

Ok technically challenged here
Plugin my phone to what? The computer? I don't get how I do this. I plug my phone i to the computer and then go to the BB SAK page and hit download?

Let's make sure I'm not skipping any steps and suddenly my computer is wiped

Go to the BBSAK page and download the program and install it on your computer first then install the OS that you downloaded for your phone. Plug in your phone to your computer with the USB cable and then you can start the BBSAK program and hit wipe device. It will wipe the Blackberry clean then press the load OS button and it will guide you through reinstalling the OS.

I hope that helps a little.

Sorry, I'm usually on earlier than this but I got caught up playing XBOX.
