Default bye bye alerts

I had noticed that all the sports alerts that had before did not work anymore when I went to tmobile the site said it has retired the alert system saying it was to costly of a service for the customer and company. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this and if they have found something that works kind of the same.

Most of the News and Sports sites have their own alerts, and the free email sites have a number of their alerts as well for different things, weather, lotto and special interest, entertainment sites, and quite a few blogs also have have alerts.

I found this somewhat disappointing. Then I remembered that I've really moved most of my alerts over to a better service.

4info.com. Really excellent. I had a couple of remaining alerts on the T-Mobile service and now everything is over on 4info for me and it's actually much easier.

Check out 4info's audio alerts too on Lexy.com -- an AMAZING service.

Rest easy. 4info will give you everything T-Mobile did and a lot more.

4Info allows you to do some incredible things. I can virtually get play by play alerts for all of my Dodgers if I want that level of detail.

Another resource ... SportsMobile ... isn't an alert system but it is an incredible app if you want interactive info on a sport you follow.

I've had for about 3 years an alert at 1030AM everyday for the weather and had forgot how to remove it. So when I got a from tmobile text saying they were doing away with it I was like thank goodness!

LOL. That's one way of unsubscribing to an unwanted alert!

I have scoremobile and it is a great app and I am going to try both espn and 4info and see which one works better for me. This is why I love this site it always seems to have a good answer thanks to all that helped.

Agreed. It is amazing how much you can learn to customize your BB from this site.

Let us know your conclusions after finishing up your research on the options offered.
