Default Buy a new BB or not?

This is probably silly....Back in Feb I broke my 8320 Curve and was on vacation (even though I had insurance) I ran out to Tmobile and BOUGHT a brand new Curve which was the 8520...They told me it was the upgrade to what I had...trackball change etc....It's ok...I wish it had flash on the camera...I know they have the Bold 9700 and was thinking of buying that phone because it's "better" according to Tmobile...is it worth it considering I just bought a phone? Are there new Curve upgrades or Bold upgrades or BB upgrades in general that are coming out for Tmobile? I'm not a corporate user...I love BB for txting...yea I get email now..and use BBM sometimes...Hold out or is the 9700 worth it? Basically I got into this because of the release of the Iphone...I was considering switching to ATandT but I think the BB is better for txt purposes..One last thing...I still have my 8320 with a scratch on it...it charges and turns on..it just won't read the sim card...what can I do with it?

What about selling your 8320 & 8520 to buffer the cost of a new 9700? You could also get a used 9700 from the CB Marketplace for way less than T-Mo would sell a new one. I don't think the price has come down any since they were first released in November.

Yeah, I LOVE my 9700. I'm really not sure of all the specific differences between the two phones. I think you can do a direct comparison on the T-Mo website.

The 9700 has 3G, the 8520 doesn't. The 9700 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, the 8520 has a 2 megapixel with no flash. The 9700 has a 624 Mhz processor, the 8520 has a 512 Mhz processor. The 9700 has a 480X360 screen resolution, the 8520 has a 320X240 screen resolution. Overall, the 9700 is a much sexier device. I own one and I love it.

I bought the 9700 and love it. I have read things that say the 9700 will not be able to support OS6. There may be a new 9700a that comes out with enough ram to support the new OS. I just hope that I have an updrage available when the time comes for OS6. If it was me I would have to hold off and maybe buy an unlocked AT&T 9800 when it comes out.

I'd hold out for the 97xx upgrade. Rumors have it being either the 9780 or 9720 but no time frame has been pegged down yet on it. Devices specs are to be the same as the 9650.
