Default Bold 9900 question!

So I just recently bought a Bold 9900 on tmobile. I just switched carriers from ATT to Sprint and then to Tmobile. On my sprint phone I was randomly dropping and picking up service. This phone seems to do the same thing. Where I am sitting currently, I go from 4G to Edge, then to GSM and back to full 4G again. Is this a product defect does anyone know? I mean it all happens within minutes. The sprint version did this same thing. Outside in the middle of the yard I have full 4G all the time. Can service vary that much while my phone sits still? Or am I missing something? Do I have an antennagate issue??

It could be a problem with your phone if it is consistently happening with both carriers. We have had Bold 9930 since launch with Sprint and we have had no problems.
If you think there is something wrong, take it back before the thirty days expire for the store warranty.
I've not heard about any problems with this though. I certainly am enjoying my pocket grand piano.

Default Re: Bold 9900 Question.

Have you tried wiping the handheld (back it up to your desktop first!), and reinstalling the OS? That will often do the trick.

If you don't have any luck and decide to get rid of it, I'd be more than happy to buy it and fix it up - my 9700's starting to show its age...

Hope that helps!

Hey, I appreciate the comments. Although I have exchanged it, as this is my third unit between sprint and tmobile. It seems as soon as I walk behind any kind of obstruction, wood, metal, cement is when I have a problem. I have tried a reinstall, but didn't do it as a backup first. Any other help?
