Bold 9700 stuck on T-Mobile screen

I've pulled the battery (hard pull) NUMEROUS times, left it plugged in for hours - nothing.
I plug it in to the computer - desktop mgr doesn't see it connected.
I've tried to hold down the red "end" button, and it won't turn off.
Tried a charged battery from another bold - nope
Tried alt, caps, delete - nothing
Also tried AppLoader, but there is no port in the drop down

Still stuck.

Hopefully you've done a backup recently.
Wipe phone with BBSAK.(I've found that with a bricked OS this helps with the new install).
Download whatever OS you like.
Take battery out.
Connect to pc.
Start app loader.
Once process starts put battery in.
Should complete the process.

Might take a few tries to get the timing right. Sometimes the inclusion of the battery will stall the process. Once you start app loader the battery should be put in almost right away.

There's a thread about fixing a nuked or bricked BB. Find that or follow the above steps and you should be fine.

I can't get BBSAK to download. I've tried about 5 times. Is there another program I can use?
