Bold 9700 renewal price?

I currently have a Blackberry Curve 8320. My 2 year is up and ready for a new phone but I want the bold 9700 but it's $299 with a 2 yr renewal. Anyone know when they are going to lower the price on a 2 yr contract renewal?

Only time will tell. I'm sure the price will go down with time. I doubt anyone here can say when exactly though...

I'd either wait it out or call Retentions and be nice. I believe it's 199 w/ mail in rebate, right? Maybe Retentions can get it to be 199 without the rebate so you can save more right away.

i upgraded my phone to 9700 for $149 back on Dic.. when i called back on mid dic.. they told me the phone was at $199 again... that was the original price! who told you $299 for upgrade?

I'm curious who told you 299 also. The upgrade price is, and has been $199 plus the $18 upgrade fee. They must've told you wrong

I payed about $240 with everything in four installments. I'm loving my 9700! :-)
