Bold 9700 disable UMA

Is there a way to disable UMA on the 9700? I noticed last night while on the phone at home that the call sounded rather tinny at times. Once I turned off wifi (and redialed since that disconnected my call), the call sounded a lot better. I'd like to keep wifi on, but not have UMA active.
