Default Bold 9650 On T-Mobile

I love the specs on the Bold 9650 but I have been with T-Mobile for 7+ years and I was wondering since the Bold 9650 supports the 2100 MHz frequency and T-Mobile will be rolling out a New 3g Network that supports the 2100 MHz frequency will they work together. Would like to know because thinking of crossing over to the dark side and get the Nexus One.....

Where did you hear this that they were changing their frequency? I didn't hear anything about that.

The 9650 would have to support 1900 as well as 2100 Mhz in order to work on T-Mobile.

Isn't the 9650 just another 9700? It looks the same to me. What are the differences?

1700 and 2100, not 1900

3G (UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+) service by T-Mobile exclusively uses the AWS 1700/2100 MHz frequency-band, making it incompatible with other existing 3G UMTS/HSPA networks and phones.

The 9650 may say Bold, but it's a rebranded Tour. Not going to be part of Tmo.

What I heard is that 9650 is basically the CDMA BB Bold. We probably won't see it on T-Mobile.

I checked out the specs on the official BB site and aside from a memory boost, I don't see any major advantages to having one over the 9700. Even the cameras are still the same...

Why would you want to leave 9700? It is better then this new tour/bold apart from the extra memory which i dont need. Why do you need more?
