Default blocking number(s) from texting and calling

Anyone have any experience with this? Is it free? Even if it's not I'm willing to pay for it. How do you go about doing this? Just call t-mobile?

Please elaborate. Are you looking to prevent one of the phones on your account from doing anything at all?

You can't do this with TMO unless you have a family plan...

I was quite disappointed to learn this when I needed to get a stalker blocked...

If you use a Blackberry, you can download a program to block calls. I use Cerberus Call filter. It's cheap.

I don't know about blocking texts though, you can use the BB firewall (in security) so only ppl on your contact list can txt you.

I've tried using this for about a week now and this one 877 number keeps calling. I can't seem to get this program to block the call.

Pick the phone call up and hang it up. It's free. It won't cost you a dime or cause you to have to call customer service. It's also instant! The other caller will get the idea after a period of time.

If it's a bill collector, then you reap what you sow..

Not a fan of that app. I would recommend BuzzOff. It's a ToySoft app and available at Toysoft, Inc.

GoogleVOICE can block certain calls. I'm not sure about SMS etc. though. It's invite only at the moment... I don't have anymore invite codes unfortunately, but check it out and see if its something you would be interested in.

[I think, however, for the call blocking features you have to use the unique google number they give you which means you'd be getting a new phone number.]

Necro'ing this post, because I *may* be in this situation.

I do have a family plan. I may need to block a known and an unknown number. (Receiving calls and texts). There may be an additional number (I've just been warned that I may receive additional calls but I suspect it's from the 'unknown' that I've gotten several from tonight already).
What is the best way to do this (without needing to change my number)?

Any advice? Thanks in advance!
