Default Blackberry unlimited internet; no Blackberry plan

Hey guys we'll I am getting T-mobile tomorrow morning Ive read through the other threads posted but they didnt quite answer my question. I know I would need service books to get the apps to work and I know how to get the service books without having the blackberry plan, but my question was if I would be able to use apps like pandora and twitter with out the specific Blackberry plan. I was planning on just getting the normal unlimited internet. would the apps work if i were to get the unlimited internet plan and the service books on the phone?

BlackBerrys are designed to work with a BlackBerry data plan. Many apps will just not work without this.

If you have an unlimited internet plan then get the BlackBerry part to go with it. You will get email, BBM app that actually work and good security.

The default broswer will never work without a BlackBerry data plan. It is a part of the phone, in reality.

You may be able to use some Twitter apps without the BB data plan. Not sure about Pandora. You'll need to download a 3rd party browser like Opera to browse the net.

If I were you, i'd get the normal (not BB plan) data plan and just give it a spin. If you find that the apps you want don't work, then just get a BB data plan. Provided that you're using your own, unlocked BB on t-mobile, you'll be able to switch to whatever data plan you want.

You should be able to use those apps over WiFi only.

Actually I have t-zones and the native browser does work. BBM doesn't work though, but apps like pandora, ubertwitter, gmail, gmaps those work.
