Question BlackBerry Plans for Tourists

Hey guys,

I am traveling to US for about 10 days this month and I need my BlackBerry service with me. I am trying to avoid paying roaming charges so I am thinking of getting my own simcard from T-mobile.

After few hours of research, I thought I should just get a BlackBerry plan from T-mobile with Flex-pay. Will it work? And since I will be there for less than a month, do I have to pay monthly charges afterwards?

Appreciate the help, guys. And if there's better options for my situation, please do tell me.

Thanks in advance!

Nope, I hav e a flex pay sim for when I go to the US.
Beware they will not process a canadian credit card over the phone so you will have to go to a tmobile kiosk or outlet when you get to your destination.

You will also have to deregister your pin from your carrier
Register it with TMO
And vice versa when you get back

Its a pain but worth it

Okay, so how much is the plan in total?
And what do you mean by deregistering the pin?

Thanks

The BB email/web only plan is $49.99/mo plus tax. If you don't opt to set up auto payment from a credit card, you're charged $4.99/mo extra
