Blackberry internet...but no email or bbm

My friend just got a curve. And her browser works. But she can't use any programs that require an internet connection. Can't set-up email. And can't use bbm. But she went to a tmobile thing @ the mall. And they said she had "blackberry internet" soo...what should she do?

The only thing I can think of is that her PIN is blocked, did she buy the Curve new? Even if she bought it as a Refurb from T-mo it is possible that it was listed as stolen, then the PIN got blocked, later on the phone was found or turned in and so it was refurbed and sold without the pin being unblocked.

She bought it knew. I only thing I can think of is that the blackberry has tmobile internet. Not BIS? Is that possible?

If she bought it new...it must be another problem...

Tell her to go to a corporate store...not a t-mobile kiosk.

Your friend can check on the T-Mobile website to see what data plan is on her
account. I like to use the online chat when I have questions about my account.

Maybe she has a T-zones plan? If so, it is limited... not the same as a
Blackberry Internet Plan. Her monthly bill most likely also shows what type
of plan she has.

To receive BB internet you need a Blackberry plan from TM.
To send and receive BB email you need a Blackberry plan from TM.
