Blackberry 8100 on T-Mobile Prepaid...

Hi,

I have a Blackberry Pearl 8100 for T-Mobile, and I don't really want to get a contract plan. Would it be possible to use it on a T-Mobile Prepaid Plan? If it can work, what services would I be limited to? (Like Internet, Texting, calling, etc.)

Hi,

In the uk you get 12 months free BB services on the sim when you buy a Pearl on PAYG. This gives you everthing you need. Then you just top up as normal for mins / texts.

I have Curve but plan to buy the Pearl on T-mob so I can use the 12 months free BB services.

My handset was purchased from Orange but I wish to stay with T-mob and the handset can take the T-mob sim card, but what I need to know in addition is if the BB service from the Pearl sim would be ok to use in the Curve handset ?

Does anybody know ? I have had so much conflicting info - Tmobile phone support says no - Tmob shop says yes ?

Perhaps it would be better to stay with Orange but I cant seem to find a top up that gives unlimited text and around 300 minutes also like Tmobile does -

Also as far as I have been informed Tmob do not do the BB service booster on PAYG, Hence I am buying the Pearl for the years services -

However, I figure there must be a way to continue the BB services after the year is up or what is the point ?

Im guessing if you had the free BB sim from the Pearl to begin with they will allow you to add on after the time is up but other than that they only do the boosters if you are on contract.
